Why I wrote Chip's Alphabet of Wonder

I decided to write Chip's Alphabet of Wonder because I kept thinking about the world children are growing up in.

Artificial intelligence is going to be part of their lives in ways we can only begin to imagine. And rather than having children first meet AI as something complicated, intimidating, or a little scary, I wanted to introduce it in a way that felt gentle, kind, curious and fun.

That's how Chip was born.

Chip's Alphabet of Wonder was created to help children take their first steps into the world of AI with a sense of possibility rather than fear.

My hope is that children will fall in love with Chip and his friends, but also come away with something bigger: the idea that technology is a tool, curiosity is a superpower, and being human — thoughtful, imaginative and kind — will always matter.
